I am a retired vet from the army national guard. I joined in the 80's when they had the first GI bill were you had to pay into it and you had 10 years to use it, well of coarse I could kick mysellf because I did not use it adn now it has been too long. Although they have the new Post 911 GI Bill, I do not have more that 90 days of active duty witht the the national guard to use that one, so I am now retired from the Army National Guard with no College Education and unable to pay for college now.
Everyone learn from my mistake, if you are going into the service for help for college take all that they are willing to give because once you are out and your time is done you do not want to to end up like me, uneducated, broke and wanting a new job but not qualified to do hardly anything.
